ABOUT TABLE POUNDING MUSIC

Table Pounding Music is a home for projects celebrating human connection:
projects bringing together artists from different genres/disciplines to create meaningful new hybrid work.
Table Pounding Music strives to create a platform for music that challenges conventional categories and seeks to innovate and explore.

All Table Pounding Records projects explore the idea of identity from multiple angles, in the knowledge that we are all connected, but that in
each person’s individual quest to find their place in the world, we see our own quests reflected across cultural boundaries.

Table Pounding Music is a 501 c-3 not-for-profit.

Table Pounding Music’s Mission

Our mission is to foster dialogue and connection through the arts, serve as a cultural resource to diverse communities, and to develop, promote and sustain music and inter-disciplinary productions. This includes the creation of music that promotes cross-cultural and cross-generational dialogue, and initiatives to make it accessible to global audiences, whether through record releases, online platforms, or live performances around the world. It also includes educational initiatives/activities that foster and promote bridge-building and understanding between different communities through the arts. Table Pounding Music strives to create a platform for music that challenges conventional categories and seeks to innovate and explore at the highest level. All Table Pounding projects explore the idea of identity from multiple angles, in the knowledge that we are all connected, but that in each person’s individual quest to find their place in the world, we see our own quests reflected across cultural boundaries.
